Somewhere he belonged - Michael Owen

As usual, the fast information and news (sometimes really is just crap) from Goal.com revealed that Newcastle Utd captain Michael Owen is not interested in re-signing his contract, which expires this summer.

Liverpool are interested?

The first Liverpool player I've ever known...

Of course this was the player who beat the whole Argentinian defense alone, at the age of 18, at World Cup 98, and won the European Player of The Year in 2001 (C. Ronaldo wants it so much!).

Wow, it's been a long time ya...

But ask any Reds fan, and they'll tell you how a player Michael was, and the memories of seeing him play in a Red jersey. He was even popular, better and influential than Gerard was at that time!

Girl girl...

The whole team went to Bangkok in 2003, and he was still in the team.

Sat beside Sammi Hyppia, who is now considered a legend at Liverpool

He would have won something more than the League Cup, if he didn't....

Ya, he left for Real Madrid in 2004.

It was a dream moved after all...

But you can't blame that transfer. We never did. What's wrong with having big dreams?

And Stevie Gerard led Liverpool to the continent's most prestigious prize.

The Champions League 2005

Stevie G developed and became Liverpool's best player (since then), and will be remembered as captain fantastic for a long long time... Last week he scored 2 goals to pull Liverpool back from 2 goals down... again...

Well, after a frustrating season in Spain, Owen joined Newcastle for 27m pounds.

I can't remember he really establish himself again

3 seasons at St James Park, I thought Owen's career is at its lowest point.

Although he has a nick name of "glass leg", I believe any Kopite will still welcome Anfield's once favourite son (by free transfer) home.

What's more when Robbie Keano is overlooked, again, as Rafa rather play Nabil El Zhar in last week's disappointing draw with Hull...

Gerard and Torres is looking forward???

It'll be like the good old days!

Gerard+Owen+Torres = Ronaldo+Rooney+Tevez+Berbatov
(can ignore)

Anfield is still home

Ps: Liverpool visits Arsenal at Emirates this Sunday. I need my lucky star by my side after some disappointing results. If we win this match, I've a feeling this's our year!
